Storing Equipment and Materials in High Places....

Some equipment and materials are stored in places that require ladders or step - stools to safely locate the product. In storing any equipment or materials do use safe storage and lifting procedures.

Store everything safely. Do not store things where they can fall on you or on someone else.

Over Stretching to Lift Lifting Unsafetly Over Head

Use common sense when storing things over-head. If the bin is full, don't try to over-stuff or put things higher.

Do-not use office equipment to stand on. Use a ladder or get help.

Your back is your business.. keep it Safe!

Everything you do from sitting, to standing to lifting involves your back. Consider your back in everything you do whether it is work related, home or recreation.

  • Don't be a lazy lifter - follow safe lifting procedures.
  • Don't over-lift
  • Always consider your back, even when it doesn't seem to be a big deal -- it could be injured very easily.
