Documentation, whether new, existing, or obsolete each have a unique process. Below is a quick step-by-step of how each of these documents are managed in the quality system. Need a visual? *A current copy of the documentation template is available on the ISO Web Site. If you are using a copy of the template from your hard-drive or a network location, you will need to check with ISO Documentation to make sure the template is the current version. Changes in documentation change the template and are released to the ISO Distribution List. Keeping current with these changes makes the revision/change/release process move quicker. The template may be obtained through ISO Documentation to be used for your documentation as a quick reference and aide in setting up new documents.
